To Make a Copy of an Organization

You can copy organizations. This is useful if you need to create multiple organizations that have similar field data. During the copy process the system will ask for a new organization code followed by a display of relationships which you can choose to copy.

  1. Open the organization you want to make a copy of in the Content pane.
  2. Click the Copy icon in the action bar.

    The Copy Organization dialog opens. If a mask exists for the Code field, the system will assign the next code available. You can also enter a code.

  3. Enter the Organization Code information.
  4. Select the related properties and intrinsic relationships to copy, and click Copy. The Copy Operation Complete dialog opens.
  5. Click OK. The new organization object details displays in the Content pane. You can now change any organization details or define relationships for the organization.
